Summer has faded to Fall… time to get warm, put our cozies on and step through the magical historic doors of Macpherson House. Maybe you just want to wander the house with some warm cider and embrace the history. That is just fine with us – we love the house, too! But as you wander you might want to drop in under our heated event tent to create the perfect fall art piece, or maybe Steve strumming his guitar will have you feeling some groovy fall vibes…maybe, just maybe…Susi at the loom will wrap you in all kinds of warm. As a special kind of fall splendor….Amanda is back with tea-leaf readings… she has become a museum favourite! Tea leaf readings MUST be prebooked and are payable to Amanda.

In this 20-minute session, Amanda from Wicked Botanicals will interpret the shapes and symbols in your tea leaves, offering guidance and reflection. With a background in Reiki, sound therapy, and spiritual coaching, Amanda creates space for insight and clarity. Whether you come with a question in mind or simply want to see what the leaves reveal, this is a chance to pause and reflect this fall.

Let the music fill the Macpherson House as local musician Steve Tanner shares his blend of folk, blues, and roots music. Each song tells a story, and you’re welcome to join in if you know the tune. A neighbor of the Macpherson House growing up, Steve brings songs and stories home to the riverside where it all began.
