In the summer of 2023 - one of the hottest on record - Hollars and his nine-year-old daughter Ellie set out on a 2,000-mile journey to complete the Montana Dinosaur Trail. Over two weeks, they explored fourteen museums, state parks, and dig sites, uncovering fossils and forging unforgettable memories along the way.
Part travelogue, part science adventure, Dinosaur Dreams offers a heartfelt reflection on extinction, preservation, and what the fossil record can teach us about safeguarding our future. Through the eyes of both father and daughter, this journey spans not just miles but millennia, asking an urgent question: Can we evolve fast enough to ensure our own survival?
