This full-day workshop introduces students to the expressive world of watercolor while exploring the timeless tradition of floral symbolism. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, participants will learn foundational watercolor techniques such as washes, blending, layering, and lifting.
Using flowers as our inspiration, we’ll explore how to create simple yet expressive botanical compositions and use the “language of flowers” as a storytelling device. By the end of the class, students will not only understand watercolor basics but will also have created a unique piece that conveys a personal or symbolic botanical story.
