Das Zelte in der Brandung festival 2025 ist ein multidisziplinäres Performancefestival der Freien Szene mit dem Ziel, Bgegnungsräume zwischen Künstlern und mit dem Publikum zu schaffen
Im Jahr 2025 spuckt die Mur zum ersten mal Zelte in die Brandung.
Leinen spannen sich über Gestänge, unter dem Menschen in ihrem Sein durcheinander sprudeln und mit allem was sie sind nach außen schwappen.
Wer wird angespült?
Wer lässt sich treiben?
Wer weiß noch was wer ist, war…
Wohin..? die Strömung…
.. uns treibt … wird sich zeigen…
Flüsse haben keine Brandung? Sicher?
Im September 2025 verwandelt sich das Theaterhaus am Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai 50 in eine strudelnde, sprudelnde Begegnungsstätte der Darstellenden Künste.
Ziel des „Zelte in der Brandung Festivals“ ist einen Raum zu schaffen, in dem sich zum einen Künstler unterschiedlicher Disziplinen begegnen und ein gemeinsames Momentum finden können und zum anderen das Zugänglich-Machen von vielfältigen Themen und (tanz- )theatralen Herangehensweisen für Alle.
Ein wichtiger Fokus der Veranstaltungen liegt auf dem Miteinander.
Miteinander sind alle die sich im Theater aufhalten. Sie erschaffen den Augenblick: Die Darsteller, die Techniker, die Zuschauer, die Welt die das was uns dazu bewegt uns zu bewegen und damit andere bewegen zu wollen…
Eingeladen sind Alle.
Denn Kunst und Kultur sollten kein Privileg sein, sondern eine Realität in der sich alle unabhängig von ihrem sozialen, strukturellen oder finanziellen Hintergrund unvoreingenommen begegnen und voneinander lernen können.
Das Festival besteht zum einen aus einem Bühnenprogramm mit Tanz-, Theater-, Zirkus-..: Performance-Stücken, Konzerten und unterschiedlich ausgerichteten Jams und zum anderen aus einem begleitenden Workshop-Programm, bei welchem die Künstler zu einem praktischen Einblick in ihre Arbeitsweisen und Themenwelten einladen.

In the year 2025 the Mur is spitting tents into the shore for the first time.
Linen are stretching above the linkage and below its humans. Humans swirling, whirling and
splashing out as what they are.
Who will be washed up?
Who will float?
Who does still know whom or what they are, have been…
Where..? The current...
… pulls us… we’ll see...
Rivers don’t have a shore? Sure?
From 18th till 28th of September 2025 the Theaterhaus at Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai 50 transforms into a melting pot of Performing Art-Encounters.
Aim of the “Tents in the Shore Festival” is, to create a space, where artists from different disciplines
can encounter each other and create a collective momentum, so as creating accessibility for a
variety of topics and artistic approaches for everybody.
An important focus of the event is the collective experience.
The collective are all the people present in the theater. They create the moment: The Performers, the
technicians, the audience, the families, friends, the world that moves us to move, so others are being
moved…
Everybody is invited. Cause Art and Culture shouldn’t be a privilege, but a reality where everyone
can encounter and learn with everybody independent from their social, structural or financial
background.
The festival consist on the one hand of a stage-program with Dance-, Theater,- circus..:
Performance-Pieces, concerts and differently orientated jams and on the other hand a workshop-
program, where the artists can give a practical insight into their working approach and related
topics.
