Spaghetti Dinner Benefit for Hobie & Christy Haney to help cover expenses as a result of motorcycle accident. Adult admission will be $10. Children under 10 years of age will be a $5 admission.
What began as a casual evening motorcycle ride turned into a life-altering tragedy when a car collided with their motorcycle. Both Hobie and Christy were critically injured and had to be life-flighted from the scene to the local intensive care unit.
They each suffered devastating injuries — including crushed right sides, multiple broken ribs, severe road rash, spinal and hip trauma, and completely shattered right legs. After enduring weeks of intensive care and multiple invasive surgeries, their road to recovery remains uncertain. The extent of medical treatment and rehabilitation they'll need is still unknown, and it’s unclear if they will ever regain full mobility or function.
This benefit is being held to help offset the overwhelming medical expenses and support Hobie and Christy as they face an extended period without the ability to work or earn an income.
