This hands-on food preservation workshop taught by UMaine Extension volunteers and staff will teach you the basic steps for fermenting. Learn the basics, such as preserving equipment, recommended recipes and ingredients, and enjoy the ease of fermentation. Kate manages the volunteer efforts of the 60+ Master Food Preserver volunteers statewide and teaches food preservation programs in 7 Maine counties.
