Bowling tournament: $25 per person paid in full upon registration
Includes:
Prize Fund Contribution, $15 donated lineage,
One slice of Pizza & Unlimited Soft Drinks.
This tournament has two categories: scratch & handicap. Players participating in the scratch prize pay an additional $5. Registration will take place on October 26 from 10:30 am - 11:45 am for the first wave, and from 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm for the second wave. This is a single man tournament with a 3-game format.
The payout ratio for the tournament is 1:5. This is not a sanctioned tournament.
Cornhole tournament: $20 per 2-person team
INCLUDES: $10 prize fund and $10 donated lineage

Mike Griffin was born Sept 11, 1960 in Carrollton, MI where he was raised with his mom, dad and 6 siblings. Throughout this childhood, Mike participated in many sports with one being bowling. Mike later got married in 1982 and by 1984 had two girls. Mike and his family moved to Traverse City, Mi in 1989. Shortly after moving to TC, Mike started bowling at Wildwood Lanes. Over the next 20 years, Mike broke records, started coaching high schoolers and helped start the TC Hall of Fame (see stats below). In 2011, Mike was diagnosed with Stage 5 kidney failure. Mike shifted his way of life and went into dialysis three times a week. In 2014, Mike suffered a heart attack while living in Saginaw. In 2015, he received a triple bypass from another heart attack. In 2017, Mike moved back to Traverse City to be closer to his daughters and 7 grandchildren. Mike’s love for bowling never went away after having to give it up due to health issues. He joined the Incredible Mo’s team at the end of 2017 so he could be around the bowling alley and the game where he became family with the team. Mike was managing his kidney and heart disease until 2020 when a procedure for a toe amputation was too much for his heart to handle. He passed away Christmas Day 2020 surrounded by his two daughters. Mike is remembered as a good friend, great bowler, great father and an even better grandfather aka Pupa.
