Common Thread: A Community Weaving
All are invited to join artist/facilitator Erica Dincalci in weaving ribbons of colorful cotton fabric through the chain link fence along Graton Town Square's Bowen St.

Weaving is all about taking separate elements of yarn and combining them together into a cohesive cloth. We can expand on this idea and think about weaving as bringing together people, generations and ideas together to make an interconnected whole.
This community weaving project takes locally sourced second hand fabric from The Legacy and incorporates it into a colorful and interconnected woven installation on the perimeter fence of the Graton Town Square all while activating the community into collaboration, connection and creativity through the weaving process.
Come join us for a fun and creative afternoon.
Bring your friends and family and we will provide the materials.
