SOURDOUGH BREAD BAKING CLASSES ARE BACK. Learn to bake sourdough bread in your own kitchen. A loaf of good artisanal sourdough costs $12. But you can bake GREAT bread at home that is better than any day old sourdough that you can buy in stores. Total cost per loaf: Less than $2. I have taught this class to hundreds of people in Nevada County in the past 13 years. In this 90 minute class you will learn everything you need to bake amazing sourdough bread in your own kitchen. From making your own wild-yeasted starter (free sample included with tuition) to mixing, shaping and baking, all aspects of baking sourdough are covered. Most importantly, you will leave with all the information, skills and confidence to bake at home the very next day. All classes $50 which includes 2 bucks for the ticket vendor, and a free sample of my 50 year old starter – all you will need to bake bread forever.
