Empowering students ages 8–16 to explore their strengths, build confidence, and SHINE on stage through storytelling and stand-up comedy!

About this Event

Do you know a lively 8 to 16-year-old that would enjoy sharing their experiences in a funny way? Well, we know just the place and camp for you!

In our week-long Stand-Up & SHINE Camps experience scheduled for Monday, August 4th to Friday, August 8th, 2025, with full and half-day options, youth will discover their strengths, explore new interests, and transform personal stories into laughter-worthy moments. Whether diving into self-discovery or crafting the perfect punchline, every activity is designed to spark curiosity, ignite ambition, and celebrate their SHINE!

Designed for ages 8–16, this program features two engaging camps:

Morning Camp (9:00 AM–12:30 PM): Dive into the SHINE framework (the Strengths, Hobbies, Interests & Irritants, Needs, and Experiences that make each of us unique) with activities, journaling, and team-building games that build self-awareness and confidence.
Afternoon Camp (1:30 PM–5:00 PM): Learn the art of storytelling and comedy writing. From crafting punchlines to mastering stage presence, participants will prepare for a Friday night showcase where they will SHINE on stage in front of a live auidence!
Full-Day Option (9:00 AM–5:00 PM): Includes both camps and a supervised lunch hour packed with fun activities.
