It was truly good to see you at Si Casa Flores in November as we got together again and learned a bit more about Immigration and what our neighbors have gone through over the years in search of a better life for their families.
December’s Eat, Talk, Laugh Salon will be lighter fare as we bring to you the Forgotten History of the Holiday Season. History and lore that’s been lost to the sands of time will be our topic as we gather together for our potluck festivities, celebrations and community sharing. Presented by Marie and Karen. No film this month.
Salon will start a bit earlier : 6-8PM
What to bring: Your favorite holiday dish to share
Where: Loree’s House at 737 NW Kinney in GP, down from Hull & Hull. Park in their lot if the street is full.
There are some folks that do not like driving at night. If you’re one, please let us know. We’ll try to match you up with a car pool. Likewise, if you don’t mind driving someone to the festivities, please reach out and let us know you’re offering a ride. We don’t want anyone to miss out.
It will be a jolly good time to eat and converse with each other. Can’t wait to see you there!
