We are thrilled that so many local groups, businesses and schools have entered trees for this year’s festival and we cannot wait to see all of the fabulous Grantham creativity on show.
We’re also pleased to announce that the Skating Rink is coming back for this year’s Christmas Tree Festival.
The Christmas Tree Festival will begin on Wednesday, 26 November with the procession at 6:00pm from the Market Place to the church for the official switch-on of the Christmas tree lights.
Entry on the door to the festival (without skating) is:
Adults £3.00 each (free if you have bought yourself a ticket to skate).
Children (must be accompanied by an adult), adults in care and those who have bought a ticket to skate get in for free.
Skating will be £4.00 per person and booking details can be found below.
The festival will be open as follows:
Wednesday: procession at 6:00pm from the Market Place, Grantham for the official switch-on of the lights. The festival will close at 8:30pm. Public skating is available from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
Thursday and Friday: The festival will be open from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Public skating is available from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Saturday: The festival will be open from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Public skating is available from 10:00am to 8:00pm.
Sunday: The festival will be open from 12:00noon to 4:00pm. Public skating is available from 12:30pm to 4:00pm. Last entry to the festival on Sunday afternoon will be at 3.30pm.
Please note: each skating ticket time will be closed approximately 1 hour before the start of each session. The session will show as 'Sold Out' on the booking form. However, this may not be the case - any spaces available for a skating session will be available to purchase at the entrance to the Christmas Tree Festival.
