About the event

National Diabetes Prevention Program
The Lifestyle Change/Diabetes Prevention Program is for prediabetic individuals with BMI over 25. Medicare, Medicaid and some commercial insurance payers cover the program. Anyone 18 plus may participate for $30/class. The program is 26 classes. Medicare covers 22 of the 26 classes over 10 months. Participants will learn lifestyle habits to reduce risk of type 2 diabetes. Call for more information 816-425-3220.
