October is the season of descent, when the veil thins and we are invited to turn inward, meet our shadows, and reclaim our light. Shadow Alchemy is a sacred ceremony to explore the hidden parts of self, release what no longer serves, and transmute density into wisdom.
Through ceremonial cacao, group Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) clearing, and a healing sound bath, you’ll be guided into the heart of shadow work with compassion and support, leaving lighter, clearer, and deeply aligned.
Cacao Ceremony 🤎
Cacao, the "food of the gods," is a powerful heart-opening plant medicine used for centuries in ceremonial practices across Central and South America. Our journey will begin with a cacao ceremony, where you will be served a nurturing cup of ethically sourced cacao. Known for its ability to deepen emotional insights, cacao opens the heart and aligns us with our deepest desires. Cacao also contains anandamide, the "bliss molecule," which promotes feelings of joy, clarity, and elevated consciousness.
Group Spiritual Response Therapy Clearing (SRT)💫
SRT works at the subconscious and soul levels to release energetic blocks, limiting beliefs, and emotional patterns.
In this shadow-themed clearing, we’ll focus on releasing:
~Hidden fears, grief, or anger surfacing from the subconscious
~Karmic or ancestral shadow imprints keeping you in cycles of secrecy or struggle
~Resistance to authenticity and being fully seen
~Shame, guilt, or energies of suppression weighing on the heart
~Old contracts, vows, or patterns that no longer serve
This clearing creates space to reclaim your power and step forward with greater alignment and light.
Sound Bath 🎶
The second half of our journey will be immersed in a deeply healing sound bath, where you will be surrounded by the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls, drums, and chimes. Sound healing is a powerful tool for harmonizing the body’s energy, clearing blockages, and promoting deep relaxation, helping you enter a meditative state of integration and release.

Megan Mahoney is a counselling therapist at Awaken Counselling and Holistic Services. Megan has a passion for holistic approaches to mental health and wellbeing, seeing the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit. Through her own healing journey, Megan has discovered the transformative power of plant medicine, integration, and holistic healing practices. As a lifelong learner, Megan is trained in various holistic modalities, including Breathwork, Reiki, Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Embodied Dreamwork, and trauma-informed plant medicine facilitation.
