School of the Beatitudes

The Catholic Information Center’s “School of the Beatitudes” offers a transformative journey into the heart of Christ’s teachings. This monthly series, running from September to May, explores the eight Beatitudes from the Gospel of Matthew through engaging discussions and hands-on service.

Each session combines insightful presentations with a practical service opportunity at a local non-profit, such as God’s Kitchen or the Community Food Bank. You’ll not only gain a richer understanding of the Beatitudes but also experience the joy of putting them into action, making a real difference in the lives of others.

Without a conscious effort to live out the Gospel, we risk drifting through life without a clear sense of purpose, missing the opportunity to experience the fullness of joy that Christ promises. Lunch is provided, and the series culminates in a capstone retreat in June. As a closed learning cohort, enrollment closes after the September session.
