Reif Cozy Concerts: Mississippi Hot Club

Comin’ in hot! Mississippi Hot Club, a Twin Cities gypsy jazz/swing band, is performing an intimate matinee at the Ives Theater. Their new album, Swing Cities, recorded at Wild Sound Recording Studio, offers a pop-oriented take on Django Reinhardt’s music with upbeat jazz manouche, hot club jazz, and gypsy jazz. The quintet, recognized as one of the Midwest’s top string bands, is inspiring young swingers in Minnesota with their eclectic and adventurous style.
