WELCOME to the 20th Annual 28th Street Metro Cruise!
Metro Cruise is a 2 day celebration of family, friends, food, music, and entertainment surrounding the love of the car. Join us at the "Main Event" at Rogers Plaza Towne Center parking lot in Wyoming, the epicenter of activity for Metro Cruise. Admission is FREE to all areas of the event!
This Main Event site is open 17 hours over 2 days. Live music and other features will be held on the GRNCDA Main Stage throughout. There will be giveaways, freebies, and games from 40+ sponsors and vendors. Be sure to pick up some official Metro Merch from our merchandise collection, located at the west end of the venue near the Metro-Main Stage.
CARS - walk the famous Collector Car Row lineup - a diverse collection of 200+ collector cars. Show cars are placed throughout the entire event site, you can't miss them. What's unique about this collection is it's diversity, and almost all are from private local owners. See a 1923 Ford T-Bucket, and a 2023 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Hennessey, and everything in between!
SHUTTLE - Our shuttle service partnership with The Rapid bus system continues this year. Park at either the Wyoming High School parking lot or the Kent District Library - Wyoming Branch parking lot, and avoid the hassle of trying to find parking in or near Rogers Plaza. Parking and Shuttle rides are completely FREE and loop every 15 minutes during the Event hours (2p-10p Friday, 11a-9p Saturday).
FOOD COURT PRESENTED BY HONOR CREDIT UNION - come enjoy some awesome food from our 27 food vendors. We book a diverse assortment of concessions, food trucks, food trailers, and pop-up tents. BBQ, smash burgers, sausages, authentic tacos, quesadillas, pizza, hot & iced coffees, fresh lemonade, elephant ears, shave ice, cotton candy, sno-cones, funnel cake, deep-fried oreos, and so much more...
CUMULUS MEDIA KIDS TENT - located in Metro Square presented by Grand Apps, we will have lots of activities for kids this year. Face painting, rock painting, coloring sheets, and car building kits, a paintball tunnel, and more!
LIVE MUSIC - Enjoy music on the GRNCDA Main Stage throughout the whole event. All performances are FREE admission! There is some bleacher seating, or bring a portable chair. See the NEWS section of our website for the complete lineup.
MISS METRO CRUISE® FINALE - Catch this Finale show featuring the final 12 pin up contestants on the GRNCDA Main Stage - Saturday at 2:00pm. This is a judged competition with local celebrities and lots of crowd interaction. Come see and cheer on these beautiful ladies at this long-running Metro Cruise event, and see who is crowned Miss Metro Cruise 2025!
LUCKYS SELF SERVE DYNO - One of the most popular features at the Main Event is the Dynamometer - the performance car testing area. See high-end sports cars and souped-up Classics roar to 160mph+ right in front of you! Location will be in front of the Planet Fitness storefront at the east end of Rogers Plaza. If you're interested in participating, registration is only $40 and is open now. Hours are Friday 2pm-9pm, Saturday 11am-9pm.
