Chili Cookoff

New City Church's Annual Chili Cookoff!
Come enjoy warm chili from various local chili lovers! Chili is free to everyone and open to the public. Chili will be judged and prizes awarded by local Creston neighborhood leaders.

Chili Cookoff Rules
The Chili Cookoff winners will be judged by a panel of judges who are comprised of Creston Community leaders. Everyone who attends the cookoff will be invited to vote on the best overall chili. Votes will be tallied and the top 5 most voted chilis will be judged by the judges on the panel. The judges will award 1st, 2nd, 3rd place prizes for Best Overall after the top 5 chilies are presented to the judges. Judges will also determine which chili is awarded the Special Consideration prizes.

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

Best overall
1st place: $150
2nd Place: $75
3rd Place: $25

Special Consideration
Spiciest Chili: $10
Most Original: $10
