As a parent or caregiver, have you ever wondered why your child pushes you away—especially when they seem to need connection the most? Have you ever had a BIG reaction to a behavior and thought, “Where did that come from?”

This dynamic is often rooted in something called attachment styles—patterns of relating between a child and their primary caregiver, usually shaped in early childhood. Parenting a child who has been harmed in relationships often puts a magnifying glass on our own attachment wounds or unhealthy patterns of engagement, making it even more important to understand what’s driving the cycle.

In this training, we’ll take a deeper look at the different attachment styles and how your own past experiences may be shaping your reactions and interactions today. You’ll gain insights that help you respond with greater awareness, compassion, and connection.
