Photography for Beginners - Master the Basics

A fun and beginner-friendly 3-hour class covering the essentials of photography camera settings, exposure, and composition. Through hands-on exercises, you'll learn how to confidently use your camera outside of auto mode to be able to use your lessons to capture portraits and landscapes in natural light, and capture creative motion effects. Perfect for anyone new to photography or wanting to gain confidence behind the camera.

Please bring your own camera DSLR, mirrorless, or advanced compact, any lenses you'd like to practice with, fully charged batteries, a charger, and spare memory cards. Tripods are optional but welcome. We'll meet at the main pavilion by the lake at Mike Lewis Park. Arrive 10 minutes early to settle in. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, and don't forget to bring plenty of water.
