What is a Habitat Hero Garden?
Key Principles for a Habitat Hero Garden

Plant Native Species: Focus on diverse, native plants that provide food and shelter.
Provide Water: Offer water sources for wildlife to drink and bathe.
Conserve Water and Energy: Practice water-wise landscaping and energy conservation.
Eliminate Chemicals: Do not use chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
Control Invasive Species: Do not spread invasive plant species.
