Merrifield Grand Reopening

For nearly a century, Merrifield Hall has anchored the quad at the University of North Dakota. One of campus' most iconic structures, its hallmark stairwells, benches, windows, and gargoyles have welcomed generations of UND students. Last year’s renovation preserved Merrifield’s historic beauty while modernizing the building to meet the needs of today’s students. This spring semester saw the return of faculty, staff, and students to Merrifield. Now, it’s time to celebrate!

Join us during UND Homecoming week to celebrate the reopening of this iconic building at the heart of the UND campus. A short program and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at Merrifield Hall’s east entrance, followed by refreshments, self-guided tours, and more.
