MEMORIES FROM THE KITCHEN

Cooking is a way of expressing love without words. I remember the smell of yeast dough, cinnamon and apples when I came into the house after school. I automatically knew I was wanted… I belonged.

With the last summer holiday approaching and school starting up I am ready to move back into the house. I look forward to the welcoming scents of summer harvest, peaches, apples, cinnamon, yeast, pumpkin….

Coming up soon, to celebrate this seasonal change, JJ’s will be setting up a Milk House candle bar with the smells of caramel corn, apple strudel, sticky buns, brown butter pumpkin & rake pile & leap. You can come in to make your own candle. It can be one scent or a combination with each layer being different.

Cost per candle is $15, or 3 or more $12.50 each. Refreshments provided.
