FREE TOUR: Granby's Dufresne Park: A History and Nature Walk into its Woods

Join Bob Comeau and his special guest, Tom Kass, a licensed Forester, for a guided walking tour of Dufresne Park, a local favorite known for its mix of woodlands, open fields, and family-friendly amenities. You’ll explore the park’s loop trails, stroll past shady forest paths and quiet ponds, and learn a bit about the park’s natural features and species of trees along the way. The walk will be at an easy pace, suitable for all ages, and offers a great opportunity to enjoy fresh air and gentle exercise in a scenic setting. However, please be prepared to walk 1.5 miles with about a ½ mile of very hilly terrain.

This walk promises a refreshing way to connect with nature and community and to get those steps in!

Park and meet in the parking lot off of Kendall Street

Please wear comfortable shoes and prepare to walk on uneven ground. You may want to bring water, bug repellant and sunscreen.
