Join us on January 8, 2026, for the first Rotary Club of Granbury meeting of the new year!
🕛 Noon | Spring Creek BBQ
We are proud to begin 2026 by celebrating Vocational Service Month, one of Rotary International’s Five Avenues of Service, which calls on Rotarians to recognize the dignity of work and promote high ethical standards in all professions.
This inspiring program will feature four remarkable speakers—Rick San Juan, Shannon Lambert, Judy Johnson, and Kevin Higgins—who will share their personal journeys after losing their sight in adulthood and how vocational services helped them pursue independence, purpose, and meaningful employment. Their stories exemplify Rotary’s commitment to service above self, integrity, and perseverance.
This will be a full program, and we will begin promptly at 12:05 PM, so please plan to arrive early.
We will also have a very special guest joining us—Ghost, a working guide dog. Ghost will be on duty during the meeting, and in keeping with Rotary’s values of respect and courtesy, we kindly ask that you do not distract, pet, or feed him unless Judy gives you the all clear. Thank you for your understanding.
This program reflects Rotary’s dedication to the Four-Way Test of the things we think, say, or do—
Is it the Truth? Is it Fair to all concerned? Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships? Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?
