Storytime

Storytime is a regular program aimed at promoting literacy and a love for reading among young children. During Storytime our Children's Librarian reads aloud from children's books, incorporating expressive storytelling techniques to captivate the audience. The program includes interactive elements such as singing songs, engaging in simple crafts, and participating in discussions related to the stories. Storytime provides a nurturing and supportive environment for children, fostering language development, imagination, and social skills. It serves as an early introduction to the joy of books and storytelling, helping to instill a lifelong appreciation for literature in young minds. Storytime is every Wednesday (excluding holidays) at 10:30am here at Hood County Library.
