"How's That Working Out for You?:
An exploration of soft power, social justice, economic responsibility, right relations and Unitarian Universalism"
Guest Speaker, James Coomes, will be exploring the concept of soft power with us, first coined by Joseph Nye in 1990 and used to differentiate the power of negotiations and relationship building from the application of military force in international negotiations. Although he will not be able to decipher current world conflicts in the context of soft power, he will explore with us how we can and do apply soft power and the values of Unitarian Universalism in our daily lives and in navigating our current local and national climate.
