We are very excited to invite you to our Voices and Vision exhibition at Grafton Library, opening 24 September!
The Clarence Valley is full of amazing individuals with the ideas, skills and knowledge to lead their own community-resilience initiatives. Since the bushfires, we have been supported by many locals across the entire region to develop a community-led approach for resilience and funding that builds on our collective strengths, knowledge and experiences.
With our program now in its final stages, Voices and Vision: Fire to Flourish Clarence Valley is a celebration of the hope, strength and leadership of our local communities, and a thank you to those who have contributed so generously to a program that is truly community-led.
The exhibition will show how our community projects are improving local places, providing mentorship and local employment, sharing Aboriginal knowledge, and bringing people together through music, art and sciences.
It will also include interactive art installations that showcase the reach and diversity of community projects, a photo gallery of the people and projects that have strengthened Clarence Valley’s disaster resilience, short films celebrating the program’s community impact, and a creative arts workshop.
Come and explore the many meaningful stories of people and places who are creating change, strengthening community resilience, building connections and caring for Country.
