About the event

First Day Hikes

Join park staff to ring in 2026 on a guided hike! There will be 3 hikes to choose from:

Easy- 1-mile hike around our Story Book Trail on paved, graveled, and leveled ground.

Moderate- 2.5 mile hike around Shaver Pond. This trail will have rocks and roots and may be slippery.

Difficult- 3-mile hike to Dickinson Hill Fire Tower with 300 feet elevation gain.
