Come enjoy a Sunday funday! We will be digging an old dump for bottles, jars and other items from the 1950’s-early 1960’s. Proper footwear is advised! Additionally, you will need something to put your finds in, a shovel and/or rake, a 365 nm flashlight (optional)(fluorescent glass has been found here) and gloves (broken glass is present so thick gloves is advised). The creek runs into a river so searching the river is optional. The dump is in a ravine so climb at your own risk (watch your footing and hand placement). Everything is First come, First serve. Past finds include marbles, old toys, old pop bottles, Uranium glass, glass insulators and medicine containers. This event is free! Feel free to bring treasures to trade or give away.
