USAGSO STEMinist: In Person Automotive Adventures

USA Girl Scouts Overseas is excited to launch our brand new Automotive Adventures STEMinist event for Girl Scouts Overseas in Europe. Come experiment, tinker, learn and problem solve with other STEMinist Girl Scouts and earn a STEMinist fun patch.

This in-person session will be hosted at Stadthalle Grafenwöhr in Grafenwöhr, Germany and will focus on solar energy and automotives. Come explore the world of automotives – how are cars powered, why do they go (and sometimes, stop), and what determines how fast they move. Design and build your own solar-powered car to take home!

• Check-in will open at 8:30am. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. Please be on time! The event ends at 12:00pm.
• The $35 registration fee for this program covers all supplies, the STEMinist fun patch, a take-home car, and a snack.
• Additionally, your registration fee also includes complimentary registration in our year-long, virtual Program Series. Already a Program Pass holder for the virtual STEMinist series? • Girls must be a registered Girl Scout to attend. If you are not already a registered Girl Scout, you can register at checkout -- just select the Girl Scout Membership add-on in addition to your General Admission ticket.
• This is a drop off event. We are unable to accommodate parents and tag-a-longs. However, we do need adult volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering for the event, please be sure to add a Volunteer ticket to your order. If you don't see don't see any Volunteer tickets availiable, all roles are filled.
• This event is open to all program grade levels, Girl Scout Daisies through Ambassadors.
• A confirmation email with event details will be sent 1-week prior to the program to the email address provided during registration.

The Grafenwoehr-Vilseck Girl Scouts are so kindly opening their huts for visiting Girl Scouts for free! Their huts are on Grafenwoehr (the closest to the event venue) and Vilseck (about 35-minutes away) and accomodate about 25 people each.
