When Bananpiren is filled with ideas, commitment and curiosity, the University of Gothenburg is there. As a partner of Frihamnsdagarna, we see it as an important democratic meeting place where research meets reality, ideas are challenged and conversations arise.
Meet us and Chalmers
Come and learn more about how mathematics affects our everyday lives and is found in all sorts of places in society, on the phone, at the amusement park, at the concert and in our grocery store. On site you will be able to solve puzzles, meet researchers, teachers, students, learn more about the math support offered and much more.
All activities in the tent are done in close collaboration with Chalmers who will have staff on site all days.
School of Business and Economics tent
Meet presenters from the School of Business and Economics who have their own tent and their own program items on the stages of Frihamnsdagarna.

Meet our marine scientists who arrange several different activities where you can learn more about biodiversity, taste the food of the future and much more.
You can find Nordicom and NIKK in the Nordic Council of Ministers tent – come by and talk media, democracy and gender equality.
