Friday Tango After Work in September

Welcome to Friday Tango After work with Jaimes and Gilda! Three Fridays in September we meet for playful workshops with suitable themes to end the work week - and start the weekend : ) There will be time to hang out and dance at the practice after the workshop for those who feel like it ..maybe we'll end the evening at a bar nearby who knows!

12/9 The Big Five
An overview of the first five of Jaimes’ Classic Salon Training Patterns, with refinement, combinations, and improvisation.

19/9 Super Milonguero Combinations
The ultimate test of one’s Milonguero Style chops with challenging phrase-based variations of standard social dance vocabulary.

26/9 Planeos and Calesitas
An excellent technical exploration of axis, both on and off, with challenging drills and beautiful figures both represented in good measure.
