Chef Santa has been called away on special service this Tuesday, so Mrs Claus and her cheerful elves will be preparing a modest cold 1940s Christmas table — simple, homely, and made with care.

On the table:
• Mince Pies
• Sausage rolls (cold)
• Selection of Pastries
• Cakes
• Scones

Served with:
• Teas & coffees
• Hot chocolate
• Christmas lattes
• Cans & luxury soft drinks
• Non-alcoholic Mulled Apple & Cranberry warmer

All accompanied by vintage Christmas music, just as it would have been on a cosy wartime December day.
