The village comes together to celebrate the betrothal of Alexis, heir to Sir Marmaduke Pointdextre and the lovely Aline, daughter of Lady Sangazure.

All is going well...until Alexis has the bright idea of hiring a sorcerer to ensure all the village can share in the delights of being in love.....how will John Wellington Wells accomplish this?
