This 4 week course will;
1. Take you through setting up a new Art Journal using an old book.
2. Will teach you different techniques for laying out the composition of an ideal ‘page’
3. We will use new & recycled items to make a host of ephemera & focal motifs.
4. Each week we will work through set skills & a variety of themes.
Ultimately, the goal is to experiment with new creative techniques whilst focusing on our positive wellbeing.
By the end of the course;
You will have several pages of your Art Journal complete, with ephemera, and other scrap pages begun, to enable you to continue your journey in your own time long past the course completion.

Charlie has been a creative all her life, having worked 'proper' jobs, in a number of industries including retail, party plan, hospitality, events & the charity sector.
As well as accepting commission works, Charlie had been desperate to let loose with her own version of art & craft tuition, workshops & courses, for those who love the quirky environment Charlie creates.
In 2019, Charlie undertook the Powertex Uk Certified tutor course, adding another dimension to her offering,. Powertex is an eco-friendly, water soluable fabric hardener.. Powertex can be used in many mixed media and sculptural forms.
Charlie's mixed media ART focuses on using recycled & upcycled items which would ordinarily have gone to landfil.
This ART project also helps Charlie to remain supportive of disabilities & mental health awareness in her community, she runs a number of 'Craft Yourself Happy' Clubs, creating an inclusive space where we can all develop our creative talents in an accepting & inclusive environment. .
Our Studio is based in Gosport, we run workshops in various locations across the UK.
Charlie is a member of Portsmouth & Hampshire Art Society.
