On Friday the 13th, New Orleans funk lands on the Central Coast, led by Zoe K — vocalist and bandleader who has performed in New Orleans, the birthplace of funk, jazz and second-line rhythm. Landing on a night that leans into the spooky, it also arrives during the height of New Orleans Mardi Gras — a place where you hear “do what ya wanna” and see signs that say “be nice or leave.” This is the energy being brought to Fun Haus.
Drawing inspiration from Dr John’s Good Night Trippers and speakeasy late-night New Orleans vibes, we’re bringing the Mardi Gras spirit and voodoo soul — blending deep funk, swampy rhythms and dance-floor-ready grooves to keep bodies moving all night.
