Our First Ever, so we're going to need some help.
We'll meet at Park#1 starting at 3pm on 10/18 Saturday. Registration will be from 3-3:30. $10 per hand.
After registering, we will move in order to the 4 hosts, choose a card and return to the starting area. A map will be provided. Your last card will be drawn at Park 1 when you return.
Upon your return to Park 1, you'll enjoy hotdogs, music, cornhole if you wish while all the hands are completed. The best hand will will receive 50% of the earnings, and the other half will be donated to the Johnson County Animal Control (JCAC).
At the host homes you will draw another card for you hand, enjoy a snack, and mingle with neighbors and move on to the next to draw your next card according to the map.
Host homes are asked to have someone present at a table in your driveway. Your address will be included on a map, and you'll greet players as they arrive. Players will draw a card (cards provided), and you will mark their cards with a unique mark (markers provided, but initials are fine too). Since this is our first year, we've designated the themes for the stops but each volunteer may make their stop more personal. We will have a cookie, chip, candy, and popcorn stop - snacks provided by EPBA. Host homes are encouraged to elaborate, or join with neighbors but it is not required. The final card draw will be at Park 1, where we began. When you return, you'll enjoy hotdogs, music, cornhole if you like, and perhaps some surprises while we wait to determine the winning hand. If weather permits, a bonfire may also be in our future.
