Reindeer Willow Weaving Workshop

This full day experience is suitable for beginners and a great introduction to the art of Willow Weaving.

Duration: 10am - 4pm

Meet at the Stables Tearoom, then you’ll be shown to Cook’s – The original servants quarters kitchen serving Carlton Towers.

Lunch is provided, including seasonal soup with a roll and refreshments - Please make us aware of any dietaries upon booking.

“During this workshop you will make a willow deer that is approximately 80cm to the top of the antlers and 127cm to the top of the head. You will learn the basics of random weave and creating sculpture with willow without a metal frame. This workshop is suitable for people looking to have a go at willow sculpture or to improve their willow skills. However it is not suitable for people with arthritis in their hands.”
