Fishing 101

Join a Ranger and go fish! On the banks of the San Antonio River, you'll get all the assistance you need to wet a line and try your luck at reeling in a catch!

Whether you've been fishing for years or have never held a rod, we'll have everything you need to go fish. Join a Ranger at the Paddling Trail Take-out dock and learn a little about the San Antonio River while you cast a line.

We'll supply the rods and gear, or you can bring your own!

Meet at the Paddling Trail take-out dock.

No fishing license is required to fish within the State Park.

Program is free with park entrance ($4 per person, free for kids 12 & under).
