By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Examine how dialect, tone, and language patterns influence perceptions of professionalism, credibility, and trust in service relationships.
2. Recognize how personal and systemic language biases may contribute to inequitable treatment, miscommunication, or client disengagement.
3. Demonstrate cultural humility through ethical communication practices that affirm identity and promote inclusive care environments.
4. Incorporate sociolinguistic awareness into ethical decision-making to strengthen rapport, reduce bias, and uphold respect for all individuals served.
