Meet some of the cutest native Aussie and wildlife at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast! Check out the many interactive displays, as you explore the lush eucalyptus and rainforest surroundings. All your animal favorites are here; cuddle up to and have your photo taken with an adorable koala, say hello to crocodiles, hand-feed friendly kangaroos, and feel your heart warm when you spot the Red Panda wrap their large bushy tails around themselves. Don’t miss out on the Rainbow lorikeet feeding - one of the main attractions - with two demonstrations, morning and afternoon!
Your visit continues with fascinating Aboriginal performances that offer insights into the rich cultural heritage of the region through dance and storytelling. These experiences not only entertain but deepen your understanding of the land's history. Conclude your visit with a stop at the sanctuary's wildlife hospital. Here, observe veterinarians as they treat injured wildlife, providing a real-time look at the essential conservation efforts that help protect Australia's diverse animal species.
