PUPFest autumn is looking set to be no bigger but lots better than last year. We are keeping the numbers low to ensure a personal welcoming community break for all dogs and people.
We have 3 options for joining in the PUPfest experience. You can bring your tent and have a grass pitch for the traditional camping experience, you can bring your campervan and park up on a hard standing pitch, or for a little more luxury you can book a cabin or dome for some glamping.
We will have an exciting itinerary with planned walks and cafe visits similar to last year but this time with added activities such as man trailing, scentwork and talks.
The weekend will begin with a walk on friday lunchtime before settling at the campsite and end with a walk Monday morning before setting off for home. Anyone that would like to arrive later or leave earlier is very welcome to do so.
The weekend is flexible for you to enjoy as you wish so anything we do as a group that you want to join in with, you can, but equally you can book with us in the knowledge that you will have a campsite with like minded people but do your own thing all weekend. Or somewhere in between where you pick and choose what you would like to do from the itinerary.
We will have walks to suit both on and off lead dogs.
So who is PUPfest for?
Everyone! You can come on your own with your dog, as a couple, as a family, or with friends. All our community is welcoming and understanding so even if your dog has some additional needs they will be welcomed in and space or time given to accommodate them. We do ask that dogs are able to settle in some way even if that is in your vehicle or away from other dogs as the owners live onsite and obviously don't want barking day and night.
For meals we will arrange a group bbq on the Friday night, bring your own food and we will cook it all up,, likely a takeaway night where a couple of us can go and do a collection for everyone, and a breakfast cafe trip with a walk. But again these are optional so if you want to do your own food thats fine.
