Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Rees Shad delivers a throw-back, swing style of Jazzy Americana that is literate, imaginative and grooving. Beginning his musical journey three decades ago with the 1994 debut release, "Anderson, Ohio" critics called Shad a wordsmith to watch. A master of alluring melodies and short story songs whose characters interact in eloquent musical vignettes, his albums reflect an unyielding combination of emotion and expression. With every successive outing, Shad has been committed to raising the bar and his latest album release, "The Galahad Blues" signals a significant uptick. Admission is $10 (cash/door only).
