Shibori Dye with Indigo Workshop

This class will teach you the basics of Shibori dye techniques using an indigo dye vat. Shibori is a Japanese form of creating resists on fabric for dyeing. This art form uses string, blocks, folding and clamps to create unique designs on the cloth. This class will cover the basic techniques and each student will dye their own scarf. Indigo is its own unique tradition used in many countries around the world. All supplies will be provided by the instructor.
