The Roaring ‘20s is this year’s theme for our Charity Ball at The Speech House Hotel.
Arrival time from 6.30p.m, where you will be greeted with a welcome drink.
Our fabulous raffle boxes, enables our guests to select only the prizes that they wish to win, so please arrive in plenty of time before your meal, to take part.
Our guests will all be seated for 7.15pm, where a three course meal will be served.
After the food, our raffle and auction will take place. There are always some fantastic prizes, all donated from generous businesses and the community to help raise money for our hospice.
The dancing then commences, where our guests can enjoy some fabulous music, courtesy of Pete Stead, DJ through until midnight.
It is an evening not to miss, and with several group bookings made immediately after last year’s event, we don’t envisage the places will be around too long.
Great Oaks Hospice supports over a thousand people in our local community, each year. All of our services are free. Our fundraising events helps to bring in much needed funds to help support our patients, their carers and families when they need it the most.

If you are a business and would like to donate a raffle or auction prize for our Charity Ball , or be one of the event sponsor’s, we would love to hear from you. All businesses will be thanked on our hospice Facebook page and listed and thanked, in our event brochure. Sponsors also receive an Advertisement in the brochure.
