Build confidence on progressive trail features like tabletops, step-downs, and drops.
🎯 Who Is This For?
This course is ideal for riders who are ready to move beyond intermediate skills and start tackling more advanced trail features. It’s the fourth step in our progressive coaching pathway and brings together learning from the Finding Your Feet and FOD Flow courses to prepare you for Jumps and Drops – Part 2.
🧭 What You’ll Learn
This session focuses on developing your technique and confidence on features like:
Pumping the trail – using terrain to generate speed and flow
Advanced weight shifting – including dynamic manuals and rear wheel lifts
Advanced cornering – for tighter, faster turns with control
Drop-offs above hub height – how to approach, commit, and land safely
Tabletop jumps – building air awareness and landing with confidence
Each skill is broken down into manageable steps, with time to practice in a supportive, structured environment.

Time: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
Duration: 3 hours
Location: Pedalabikeaway Trail Centre
Trails Used: Downhill lines and purpose-built skills area
Coach: British Cycling-qualified MTB coach
Group Size: Maximum of 6 participants
