STEM fest is April 11 at the Gila County Fairgrounds in Globe from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Organizers provide chairs, tables, water – and power, if electricity is needed.
“STEM is an acronym that stands for Science, Technology Engineering and Math; interactive exhibits and hands-on activities in recent years shone a spotlight on copper companies that offer promising careers in these fields, such as Capstone, BHP and Freeport,” said Gila County School Superintendent of Schools Roy Sandoval.
“Health care providers are invited to host educational exhibits and booths, other local industries as well -- and we also welcome the Globe, Miami and San Carlos school district staff to join us and feature each of their unique curricula for science, technology engineering and math.”
