ABOUT THE LECTURER
John Shryock has traveled the globe with his illusion, parlor, and close-up routines, wowing audiences with his engaging person- ality, showmanship mastery, and unmistakable sense of fun. John was a favorite at Caesars Magical Empire in Las Vegas, and is one of the few magicians who performs regularly in all of show rooms at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. Since 2007, John has been a featured entertainer at Warren and Annabelle’s Magic Club in Maui, performing his hour-long, comedy and sleight of hand show to hundreds of five-star reviews.
A professional magician since 1984, John has performed in over 100 cities across five continents in a variety of venues including cruise ships, theaters, nightclubs, conventions, and trade shows.
This repertoire of experience led to the creation of some very practical magic, applicable for almost any situation.
John is the author of the book, “Sleightly Tricky,” and the star of the the DVD, “Live at Caesars Magical Empire,” as well as the best-selling DVD, Ring in Walnut.”
ABOUT THE LECTURE:
John's comprehensive lecture not only teaches sensational and entertaining magic, but how to make your own routines great. The lecture is taught in a “let's have fun” manner with plenty of room for questions. John opens the presentation by performing the first 20 minutes from his sold-out show in Maui. He then shares not only how to do the magic, but how and why the routines are structured to create an incredible evening of entertainment for the audience.
A wide range of topics from natural movement, to the proper use of various sleights and how to use music to amplify your magic are covered in this entertaining and informative session.
