Get ready for tiny legs and huge energy—The Dachshund Dash is back at Colorado Springs OktoberFest, and these long boys are here to race, strut, and steal the show.
Join us on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 at the Western Museum of Mining & Industry. Check-in starts at 𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠, with a pup parade at 1:45 PM, and races dashing off from 𝟮:𝟬𝟬–𝟯:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠. Whether they sprint like lightning or plop down mid-track for a nap, these dogs are here for chaos and glory.
🪅 Don’t have a dachshund? No worries—spectators can come cheer for free! Just remember, 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒐𝒈𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒔, so your off-duty pup will have to watch from home.
